Yes, I talk to the Trees. Touching one or more I assure them of my friend status. I thank them for allowing me into their home. Science has discovered what many of of us who Love Nature already knew, the Trees are communicating. Tapping into a vast communication system along each trail we can listen to the wisdom of the Trees.
We have learned Fungi creates hubs and routers along each root system spreading out from large “Mother Trees” to communicate the needs of the ecosystem. Long ago the vast Forest systems of continents communicated coast to coast. Then man savaged the delicate balance by chopping down the elder Trees and clear cutting. Each protected Forest has become an island in need of our protection. We must save them to save ourselves.
“Professor Suzanne Simard now believes large trees help out small, younger ones using the fungal internet. Without this help, she thinks many seedlings wouldn’t survive. In the 1997 study, seedlings in the shade – which are likely to be short of food – got more carbon from donor trees. Says Simard in the 2011 documentary Do Trees Communicate? “In fact they are interacting with each other, trying to help each other survive.”
Thank you for posting this Angel…..I love (now) talking to these guys, and their fun-guys thanks to you. There’s a lot to hearing the “singing rivers” via the trees…Love ur LH Rick x0x0x0 PS wonderful photos too.
