  2. I think those “Ground Ivy Wildflowers” are * Lamium amplexicaule * (don’t ask me to pronounce it ). It’s commonly known as Henbit or Deadnettle … and considered a weed.

    But I also consider them one of the first signs of Spring, and I’m always glad to see them. (They’re actually quite intricate when you study them close-up…)
