Airbrushed Storm Clouds Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas
My husband and I were half way through our early evening hike when the sound of lightning (aka thunder) was drawing closer. I made him jog walk the final quarter mile. When we reached the van the sky was a pretty pale blue of airbrushed clouds with hints of muted pink and purple. As I raised my camera a soft boomed echoed around us. I took three quick shots facing the east and it wasn’t until I edited the photos I could see pockets of faint light from the lightning.
