HSNP Upper Dogwood Trail Green Anole
Sometimes Nature wants to show us a special talent. This lovely Green Anole showed me both dramatic and subtle changes. It hopped up on a rock and turned green in the lichen. The boldly lept into the leaves and began to change to a lovely rust color. A few seconds later came over to where I was standing and climbed up a stick to show me a spectacular eye lid colors. I was afraid to move or breathe as this tiny being came near.
