The rainbow sunrise sky is just beautiful. What a unique sight to see – thank you for sharing these beautiful images.
Hot Springs use to be know as the Valley of the Vapors. Unfortunately most of the hot springs have been built over for the bathhouses or capped by the National Park Service (NPS). However the NPS sometimes vents one of the large springs, when they do we get rainbow clouds. The Native Americans also referred to to this area as the Valley of the Rainbows. After I read that information I started paying attention to the sky and clouds. Many of my sky shots have rainbow halos and other colorful effects from the minerals in the air from the springs.
