Colorful Autumn Fungi in the Forest

They emerge from their slumber pushing out from stumps and up from the layers covering the Forest floor.  Fungi is a variety of colors and shapes paint the Autumn landscape.  As Wildflowers begin to vanish their blooms are replaced by beautiful fungi blossoms. Please do not steal the fungi from National, State and County Parks as they are an important food source for the Wildlife during autumn and winter.

    • Thank You for the reblog Adam. I used a Sony® System 70-400mm F4-5.6 G SSM although a bit of a lift when hiking always worth the extra weight. Works as a marcro and telephoto with my Sony Alpha series camera.
