The cooler Autumn temperatures are a joyous relief from the hot humid southern summer,  Local hiking trails are peppered with an explosion of new hues and textures.  The obvious fall color is found in the red, orange and yellow beginning to appear among the towering short leaf pines.  Below the festival of color in the canopy a variety of Fungi in white and gold push up through the rust color covering on Forest floor.  Delicate Wildflowers continue to accent the greenery flourishing beneath the Autumn Leaves.  Set your Soul free with a hike in the Autumn Forest.

If you live in Garland County Arkansas or are passing through don’t forget to stop by Cedar Glades Park, there are 3 trails, a picnic area, giant Tree house, Frisbee golf, camping, rock climbing wall and much more.
