The Beauty of Nature is in its transformation.

As spring emerges across the Northern Hemisphere the most noticeable features are new leaves. Pods of pale green, pink and silver appear on branches glowing in the spring sun.  The outer layers begin to open like the delicate petals of a flower, soon the life growing inside is revealed.  Tiny ribbed shapes gradually unwind from praying hands to wings and the spring Forest is born.

Each rain shower feeds to delicate sleeping greenery that stretches up seeking freedom above the earth from which they were born.  The tiny new lives push through leaves, needles, stems, seeds and rocks making their way to freedom  Some thrive in shadows of large Forests while other spread out the open spaces of fields and prairies.  Unfurling greenery entwine with single and clustering colorful blossoms.

Tiny colorful blooms of Redbud, Maple and Sweetgum Trees linger to mix with the new spring growth.  Their branches weave a delicate net of pink, red, orange and green.  Each day something new will appear in the living gallery called Nature.
