Most of you know my passion is photographing Nature, but I do appreciate the artistic lines of classic motorcycles.  After hiking across North Mountain along the Forest trails for 3 hours I decided to visit the motorcycle show at the base of Hot Springs Mountain.  I am not adept at taking photos of people, crowds and machines, but the chrome was irresistible.  There were motorcycles for all fan tastes glinting in the morning sunlight. I hope you will enjoy my photo tour of the event.

  1. Love the bike photos. Have been attending this show since its start; about 10 years ago. It was just a small conference; maybe 3000 bikes; this last week was 13,000+. I’ve loved seeing the antique bike show in the park the most, to Thor, the whole thing might as well have been thunder, it was “pure evil” to my late dog (afraid of loud noise) so he didn’t attend with me. The noise is unfortunate and way too much (its actually noise pollution); of that many bikes echoing in a small valley; but the sights are gorgeous. Thanks for posting the beautiful old rare bikes.
