The Bumble Flower Beetle

I am embarrassed to say when I saw this lovely insect moving along the Forest floor my first thought was “Oh it looks like a drunken Bumble Bee”.  Thankfully when I got home it became clear when viewing the photographs on my computer it was a wonderful Beetle”.  After combing through the Google links/images for “furry beetle”, “fuzzy beetle” and “Arkansas Beetle”  I spotted an image associated with a blog called “What’s That Bug?“.  Their site provided the following information “This Scarab is a Bumble Flower Beetle, Euphoria inda”.  Nature is the best classroom at any age, there is something new to learn during/after each hike!

Love to ALL!
